30 Day TV Challenge Day 27- Best pilot episode. “Reno 911!” The pilot episode of “Reno 911!” is a hilarious start to a hilarious series. The characters are all introduced nicely, and the pursuits of the criminals garnered full-bellied laughs from me. When I go back and watch the pilot, it doesn’t read as being “old” like many shows’ pilots. Also, the improv-style comedy really hits the spot.
